Job Description
Job Purpose

• Management and oversight of an organization's data assets to provide business users with high-quality data that is easily accessible in a consistent manner
• Accountable for the management of all data within and used by the enterprise and ensuring that the data-related rules as established by the data governance program are followed

Major Accountabilities

• Manage data from a variety of sources
• Guarantee the quality of the data gathered, stored and used by the organization
• Document and enforce rules around data collection, storage and use
• Execute the policies and standards established by the data governance program
• Ensure access to the right data by the right users at the right time based on whether information is private data, corporate data or sensitive data, etc.
• Help to create and implement processes and procedures for data collection, storage, use and security
• Help to identify ways to use data to drive enterprise objectives.

• Improved data quality
• Better data documentation
• Clear, concise data policies and processes
• More efficient and effective analytics programs
• More frequent use of data to make decisions
• Improved compliance with data-related regulations
• Fewer errors in processes and decisions that are driven by data
• Reduced risks around data-related security and privacy requirements

Minimum Requirements
Ideal Background

Education:

• Bachelor of Science degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science or related field
• Certification in and/or experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies is a plus

Languages:

• Fluent in written and spoken English

Skills:

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Participates as a member of a team to move toward the completion of common goals while fostering cohesion and collaboration among team members

Experiences:

• At least 2 years of experience in managing data
• Master Data Management, SAP MDM, EBX, QlikView, Databases.
• Ability to understand importance of data in the organization and reporting cycle(s)
